The Vandal Alumni Marching Band welcomes you to Homecoming, 2019!
This family-friendly event takes place Friday 10/18/19 and Saturday 10/19/19.
After Homecoming 2018, Kathy Bernard, Executive Director of the University of Idaho Alumni Association, said “The Vandal Marching Band is celebrating its centennial next year, 2019, and anyone who participated in the band in any capacity is encouraged to join in the party. We are working with the Lionel Hampton School of Music and the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences to make the reunion as special and impactful for returning band members as possible.”
Part of this plan includes creating a written history of the Vandal Marching Band, complete with photos, uniforms, and other memorabilia. If you have anything to contribute, please contact Shannon Kelly at kellys@uidaho.edu.
The Vandal Alumni Marching Band at the University of Idaho was created in 2004 to facilitate former Vandal Marching Band: Sound of Idaho members to relive the excitement and fellowship they had during their years as a student. VAMB has grown from only a few alumni in 2003 to over 70 participants in recent years.
