Welcome to the Vandal Alumni Marching Band

The Vandal Alumni Marching Band (VAMB) would like to invite all former members of the Vandal Marching Band to return to the University of Idaho campus and participate in Homecoming 2012 Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6.

Highlights of Homecoming 2012 include

- Friday afternoon field rehearsal with Vandal Marching Band

- Friday evening music rehearsal at Lionel Hampton School of Music

- Saturday morning breakfast at UI Commons provided by VAMB

-  Saturday morning music rehearsal at Lionel Hampton School of Music

- Homecoming parade 

- Saturday afternoon field and music rehearsal with Vandal Marching Band

- Tailgating experience

- Play in the stands during the game

- Halftime performance with Vandal Marching Band

- Entrance to the game for all participating VAMB members

Need an Instrument?

If you don't have an instrument, don't worry.  We most likely have one for you to borrow.  Please make sure to submit your registration early if you need to borrow an instrument.  If you have questions about availability, please email us at vandalalumniband@gmail.com. 

What's the Uniform?

We'll be using the newly designed T-shirt from 2011!  They will cost $10.00 for sizes S-XL and $12.00 for larger sizes.  The T-shirt will act as your ticket into the game.  To order a T-shirt, please fill out the registration form on this site.

Do You Need Music?

On the field for the halftime show, we will be playing “Go Vandals!” and “Here We Have Idaho.” To download the sheet music, simply click on the link above and select it from the table on the following page.

More information about music will be sent to you once you register. 

Help us build the VAMB Book

This year we're working on getting books to use when playing in the stands, etc.  In addition to the current Vandal Marching Band selections, we'd like to include some of your favorites  If you'd like to request a tune, see the link in the sidebar.
